This page explains how approved work is stored, labelled, and retrieved inside the chest: drawer logic, who may open which section, and what a finished handover contains.

Chest Index

Top drawer
Index sheets and spine rules only — no campaign artwork.
Client section
Named with your organisation, not our project codes.
Archive drawer
Superseded masters dated, never deleted in haste.
Sign-out shelf
Stacks waiting for collection with cover sheet uppermost.

Each section receives a typed index pasted inside the drawer lip. The index lists file names, dates, and the initials of who signed. When you ask for a master from last March, we open the index first, not every folder.

Access is practical, not theatrical: your named contacts may request exports; we log the request on the weekly sheet. We do not offer viewer portals or password vaults — those are different kinds of storage.

A finished handover contains the index, the signed masters, a change log, and a plain-language note describing what we did not include. If something was rejected, it stays in your section with a red margin mark explaining why.

Retrieval should never depend on memory. When you ask for a master from last March, we open the index first — not every folder. If a name has drifted from how your team speaks, we update the label and note the change on the weekly sheet.

On the porch

On the porch, ask to see a blank index template; we keep copies for new sections. It saves an hour on the first filing day. Visit us.
