This page describes five ways of working with the studio, each marked on a tide rule with a time or week label. None of the shapes include figures or commercial promises; they name rhythm, people involved, and what is documented when the work ends.

Neaps — ways of working

09:00

System sprint

A concentrated fortnight to rebuild or refine the brand system spine. Two people from your side join us at the chest for daily read-throughs; we leave with approved rules and a labelled master set. The fortnight ends with a spine document your internal team can execute without re-briefing us.

week three

Quarter of channel work

Twelve weeks of steady production across agreed channels. Each week closes with a signed sheet listing what moved from draft to approved, what waits, and what was returned for revision. At week twelve, that sheet becomes the opening page of the next quarter's calendar.

16:40

Launch window

A fixed calendar band for a product or programme launch. We sequence assets, rehearse the order of release, and sit in the room while pieces go live so corrections can be logged immediately. Live fixes are noted in red pencil; nothing is re-exported without a fresh signature.

Thu close

Editorial retainer

Ongoing copy and layout support with a standing Thursday afternoon review. Material arrives by noon; we mark, adjust and return before the shutter comes down. Thursday marks are back by 18:30 so your Friday publish window stays clear.

month end

Advisory seat

A named senior from the studio joins your fortnightly call without taking over production. We read what you have, ask the questions a fresh pair of eyes would ask, and send a short written note after each session. Notes arrive within twenty-four hours and never exceed one page.

Between busy tides we keep neap weeks: filing only, no new cuts, labels rewritten where names drifted. Clients may ignore us during a neap; we use the quiet to prepare the next launch window.

On the porch

On the porch, tell us which shape you think you need; we will say if a neap week should come first. Sometimes the right answer is to file what you already have before adding another channel. Write to us.
